Purus means “pure” in Latin.

To us, purity is expressed in two ways: through the experience in the cup, and in the way coffee expresses itself.

We roast exclusively at an Extra Light level - a deliberate choice to preserve a cup that is bright, clean, and refined, while allowing the coffee’s natural character - shaped by its variety and terroir - to reveal itself as clearly as possible.

tranquil

A cup of coffee can be a small pause in the rhythm of a busy life - a moment to slow down, unwind, and find a little peace, whether at home, at work, or along the way.

To Purus, Tranquil is not only a feeling we hope to bring to every cup, but also a quiet presence that guides us. We work with calmness and humility, letting time, patience, and the coffee itself speak for us.

minimal

We believe that true refinement does not come from adding more, but from knowing what is truly worth preserving - nothing elaborate, nothing excessive, yet still rich in depth.

From packaging design to the way our coffee is presented, Purus embraces restraint in expression to honor the inherent qualities of the coffee bean, allowing them to reveal themselves naturally and in their entirety.

This minimalism is also part of our philosophy - one that is grounded in values that are authentic and enduring.
